It's amazing, but CFG's lies and broken promises have trained me to instinctively hate sky blue. I'm going to have to retrain myself when NYCFC starts up.
Giving up the tying goal before halftime sucked. Also playing 120 mins against Liverpool probably didn't help.
On a TV note, having Premier League Live/Goalzone on location outside the Super Bowl is delightfully pointless and ridiculous. To be completely perfect , they need to bring Tony Dungy, Bob Costas, Al Michaels, and Hines Ward onto the set to discuss the Chelsea/MC match, then run pre-recorded interviews with Belichick and Carroll.
Guessing the same production crew does both shows.
Meaning if they want to do one show on location somewhere...then both shows will be at that location or else there will be no one to hold the cameras and do the lighting and all that at the other place...
Incidentally, the 650 million figure I saw is how many households and premises would watch the game, not the individual viewers. If that's the correct, the actual figure for the Chelsea - MCFC match could be higher, it's hard to say.
