Attendance doesn't seem to be looking to good for this game compared to last year. Understandable, since we were a first year team last year.

Possible rain and showers Sunday - non STH may be waiting to see the forecast one day out before pulling the trigger. As it is, there are 20K STH and as of last count only about 1.5K seats left in the lower tier which would mean we're somewhere around 33K. I bet we push 36-38K for the game - plus, the team is running a special sale today (until 5pm) on tix using the promo code "3points" after yesterday's win.

I'd say roughly 2,200-2,300 left. If it means anything, the majority of those seats are in the Audi, Delta and that area directly behind home plate and under the back stop sections.

Can't see the 300's being opened Sunday, but still should be in the 30,000 range.

Anybody seen my meds?

Whatever it's at will be quite a bit higher than opening day at RB..... 21,303 is pathetic for the defending Supporter's Shield holder..... and doubly so because yesterday was a beautiful day to be at a game

Not surprised by Orlando - opening day with Florida weather is made for outdoor sports; hell, even if it rains in Florida, it's a warm rain so you don't get chilled to the bone.

I haven't looked to see which games were player where yesterday, but I'm curious how many of the leading attendance-getters were on the road like us ? Both RB & Chicago we crappy last year and they got Home games which skews the Avg downward. Luckily Seattle was home with 39K, so at least they were there to prop up the bottom feeders. Hell, even LA sucked it up with only 25K.... for being a super club, they have a super-average following....

Stubhub capacity is only 27k. I really hope whoever builds ours goes big. I understand the empty seat complaints, but shit, if we keep trending upwards we could rival Man City (53892 v. Villa - capacity 60k). If you build it, they will come!

Then they should have filled all 27K - for LA not to sell out their season opener is ridiculous. When LAFC opens up, they're going to curb stomp the Galaxy....

With perhaps 2.5k seats left I think it is nearly certain we will see a "paper" sellout. If they pump up the giveaways enough as they did last year they could probably "sell out" without selling another ticket.

I'm surprised sales are so slow in the Audi club. Better view and better food than the Delta club for only slightly more money.

There are a lot more seats left open than I would like, but my guess is that we will see all (or nearly all) be sold. Might be some left in the spaces around home plate.

My guess is that we end up around 30,000 - maybe a tad less.

Remember that last year, we only once ended up with 30,000 in a game where we didn't open up the top levels - and that was the Columbus game, in which the Club opened up every seat in the lower section, and we ended up at 30,018. I'm not sure where the lower capacity estimate of 33-34,000 is coming from, but that's way too high.

If RJ doesn't play RB against Toronto, who's our nastiest player that can deliver a mugging to Giovinco the same way Jens Jeremies took out Reyna in 1998? Seriously, take his head out of the game in the first 5 minutes and its' over....
