It's called "wasted energy," Gentile Gentile.

I guarantee you one thing, though. Let the club make a run at the playoffs or the Cup and the same people who are complaining now will be nominating Kreis for Coach of the Year, (Of course, there will also be a vocal group who will say "Well, he had GREAT players; Kreis had nothing to do with it. See: Jackson, Phil.)

And we could lose the rest of our games and you two would still be defending him. Where you are extremely wrong is I think the whole board that is critical of him right now would love for him to achieve what you said and get coach of the year nominee. I know I would applaud him and eat crow. I would love for Kreis to have a remainder of a season that makes him coach of the year. We see glaring issues with him that have nothing to do with the fact he hasn't had two DPs for most the season. One of those issues being he has the tactical awareness of a twelve year old.

It's not like there needs to be a board consensus on this lol. Most of us wouldn't be here if we agreed on every single topic.

If you think Kreis is doing the best job anyone could then you are admitting that a team with Mix, Poku, Villa, Mcnamara, and Calle does not have the talent level to beat Philly or Chicago. And the addition of Pirlo, Angelino, Iraola, Lampard, Facey, and Mena is not enough to get up to way above average in MLS.

Most of us think that that is plenty of talent to beat Montreal with.

Most coaches wouldn't leave Poku, Mix and Facey on the bench while starting Grabavoy in a must win game. Most coaches don't play with fire by not respecting Oduro's speed and letting his defenders get beat over the top. Most coaches wouldn't try to play a 2 CDM pulley strategy with Jacobson who offers nothing in the middle of the park.

You are well within your rights on this board to think that none of those decisions cost us this game. You are free to think that it is all on the players and that they are not good enough. No one is trying to stop you from conveying those thoughts, its just not what most of us think anymore, and that includes guys who have been defending Kreis all year.

Tom, well said. Hardly anyone could have said any better than you did.

I just want everyone to compare what the Pro-Kreis crowd uses in his defense on these forums....

...to the well thought out reasoning of the Kreis Critics...

Can anyone spot the deluded person? (Hint its not Tom)

Bravo Gentile.

Did you guys know that the Metro Stars fired Carlos Quieroz and Bruce Arena?

It's great to see we finally have an official thread to vent about the coach. I hope it's therapeutic.

This thread and every other Kreis thread exists for one reason, to bag our coach for anything and everything that goes wrong. Carry on.

Jason Kreis, win an MLS Cup before 2017 or Pellegrini takes your job. If you win, he's going to Melbourne. I hope Pep comes to NYCFC though down the line. He'll have to shake Caleb Porter's hand at least once per season.
Chairman, as much as we all wish we could get Pelligrini or even Guardiola, who is even a less likely possibility, this will remain a dream. Who else is available on the market?
