Introducing Chelsea Cabarcas

With Alex Kraemer having left to cover the Boston Bruins for NESN, NYCFC has hired Chelsea Cabarcas to be the new in-stadium host. Chelsea is a Queens native that played for the Colombian's Women National Team as a center midfielder and center back.

She's also a soccer analyst for the NWSL and...sideline reporter for the Cosmos...ugh.

Haha I feel bad. Apparently the guy who does the sound for City Beats is a friend of a friend. He asked me how the fans felt and I said sometimes we couldn't hear. I didn't really tell him that everyone I know calls them "Shitty Beats". TBF, it's not really their fault, more on the FO for thinking they can just AstroTurf some grassroots supporter culture. But I didn't really feel like getting into the nuance of that argument in a loud bar.
