Didn't realize we got to play Philly with the Union on short rest.

By the time we play Philly, we would have played 4 fewer matches than them (18-14). Our schedule is absurd.

I’ve never understood the metrics of this league’s schedule creation and the vast imbalance MLS creates between teams at any given time during the season. Surely, if the home venue of one team isn’t available on a given week, a slight jimmying of a few other teams could set the stage for all to play rather than one/more being off. And this dovetails in to the absurdity of playing the same opponent twice in the matter of weeks rather than once first half of season and then the second in the latter half. Something just isn’t right considering the vast majority of teams control/own their venue and should have the flexibility to accommodate those that don’t.

I hope everyone was watching the final 5 minutes of Toronto vs. Atlanta. If you didn't...

Toronto is on the attack and send a ball into the box. Miles Robinson (ATL) does a terrible job heading it away, actually diving into the ground to defend. It winds up on Richie Laryea's (TOR) foot and gets a penalty call. It looks as if there's no to minimal contact and actually Laryea hit his cleat into the ground then falls, diving. There is a check but no video review. Toronto converts the penalty 3-2. It's now 90+4 with 2 minutes of added time but the foul took place in the 90'.

Atlanta sends the ball forward and picks up a foul on the rebound. On the ensuing free kick, Pity Martinez (ATL) sends a whip of a ball to the left where Gonzalez-Pierez (ATL) sends it across goal. It goes out of play and the referee, Alan Kelly, blows the final whistle. The Atlanta players storm at Kelly signaling a handball. Some of the bench people are on the field but there's a check and the referees are holding them back. This goes to video review, a quick one, and it's a handball on the Toronto defender.

Pity Martinez, MLS All Star 2019, steps up to the penalty and hits it above the crossbar. The referee blows the whistle. Toronto win 3-2. SCENES!

Toronto-Atlanta was 2-2 at 90'. Toronto awarded a PK at 90+1, makes it. Atlanta awarded a PK at 90 + 5, misses it. Toronto wins 3-2. Atlanta had another PK in the first half.

It’s a Pity.

COL 1 LAFC 0

LAFC was heavily rotated but still had Blessing Vela and Rossi.
Colorado is 5-2-2- under interim coach Casey. The 2 losses came in his first 2 games. But AFAIK Colorado is still saying they're looking for someone else.

NYCFC is the only team remaining with one loss.

Saw on twitter somewhere, LAFC’s only 2 losses are to Vancouver and Colorado. Odd.
