Headline: Andrea Pirlo’s Debut and a Scoring Spree Energize City F.C. Fans
- Well if the New York Times is calling us City then I guess we're City.

"Pirlo, meanwhile, was surrounded by a horde of cameramen and reporters. He said he had met Mayor Bill de Blasio and given him a jersey. He smiled, acknowledging that he needed to adjust to cultural differences, such as members of the news media in the locker rooms."
- Mayor de Blasio met Pirlo, let's get the facts straight. Also, reporters might
accidentally see the maestro in the locker room, if you know what I mean.

I still reject the whole City name and I'm going alone with the blogs and sticking to Blues and Blue York.

I think City is fine. If it's blues it really aught to be the Light Blues or Sky blues because there are other teams in the league in different shades of blue.

Stupid thing to say I live just outside new haven no tv coverage of The Revolution and no public transport to foxboro probably a 2 and half to 3 hour drive depending on traffic. Southern Connecticut leans heavily toward NY teams just putting the word new England in the team name instead of Boston doesn't make them any closer.

I think NYCFC just sends him a new jersey everyday. He'll probably end up supporting the Revolution when he's at Yale.[/QUOTE]
