In a way I’m happy about it. The best way for fans to respond to bad practices by a company is with their wallets. If the Knicks and Mets had tons of available tickets and took a hit to their revenue that way, they would probably be better run by now.Saddest post I've read recently... the fact that there are so many seats available is an indictment on this organization.
Don’t go on Twitter then.... after last night the entire soccer Timeline is morbid.Saddest post I've read recently... the fact that there are so many seats available is an indictment on this organization.
yeah last year my section 127b, there were 2 in row 5 that I took, the best available was 3 seats in row 4 that they wouldn't let me take unless i took all 3 so i balked, and then like 4-6 scattered around mostly in the back rows.Saddest post I've read recently... the fact that there are so many seats available is an indictment on this organization.
I like the extra height to help see the build up of plays. Especially when the ball is at the opposite end of the pitch.Quite the conundrum.... stay in 233B and move from row 5 to row 2 or jump to section 110 row 9
Thoughts?
I agree here - I skipped 110 Row 1 cause you need that depth to see the other end of the field. I feel you only get that about 15 rows back (which is where I used to sit). 233 Row 2 will give you that, but the Row 2 also gives you better resale potentialI like the extra height to help see the build up of plays. There’s still a ton of green seats this year. Looks like a large number of opt-outs, since secondary market is lower priced than City membership.yeah last year my section 127b, there were 2 in row 5 that I took, the best available was 3 seats in row 4 that they wouldn't let me take unless i took all 3 so i balked, and then like 4-6 scattered around mostly in the back rows.
This year it was 4 in row 2 of which i snagged the 2 on the aisle, 6 behind that, and 3-6 in each row for the next few rows then it really was any seat you wanted in the back of the section.
I don't know if it has to do with the computer glitch someone mention and I lucked out on my timing or we truly are bleeding out STH at a high rate. Or maybe the fact that they did it all online with out the reps calling had an effect on how my section filled up. Like maybe we had the same number of people cancel last year but with reps calling on the phone more people were able to move into my section and snag all the best seats, but this year those who were unable to be at the computer or maybe aren't tech savvy missed their opportunity to move up. Who knows, but it certainly looked like a lot more green seats this year.
