We need to gird ourselves for the upcoming Gold Cup. Berhalter will announce the final 23-man roster around the end of the month, and it seems likely to include Sean Johnson. It's possible he will fall behind another keeper and not get called up, but that seems well less than 50-50.
The first tune up game is June 5, and the Gold Cup Final is July 7.
Over that period, we have the following games.
- 6/1 at Columbus
- 6/6 vs. Cincy
- 6/29 vs. Philly
- 7/3 vs. Seattle
- 7/7 vs. Portland

Not sure what some of the other international happenings are around that time, but we will also likely be without Matarrita during that stretch as he will likely be on the Ticos Gold Cup roster.
copa america is also going on, so some of the players on those teams missing as well? ( im too lazy to look it up). Also, Euro Qualifying is happening too, so potentially absences for columbus and cincy games.
Fair points. Mata seems likely to be gone for most of the same time frame as Johnson. Callens potentially for Peru in the Copa America. I guess Ofori is an outsider for Ghana in the African Cup of Nations.
Don’t forget Isi, chanot, mitrita (though he pissed off some ppl last time), & tin (he gets a random call here and there).
