We just came out of a 3-game week with 7 points. Probably something most of us would have taken ex ante - even if it seems a little disappointing ex post with a poor result against Orlando.
Now, we are starting a stretch of 4 straight road games. How many points should we be shooting for in this stretch?

Based on our uncanny ability to draw: 4 points.
Well, 12, obvs. That's *my* vote.
Going in, I would have said 4-5 is probably reasonable given our form.
But, to be the team we want to be and believe we can be - a team that sits toward the top of the league and competes for titles - then we should hope for 7-9.

It went be easy getting points in CLB as it will be Zach Stephen’s last match with them and I’m sure he’ll be hyped up for it.
When I saw your post yesterday asking what we should shoot for in his stretch my first thought was 7 points, but we were already winning 1-0, so take that into account. But I might have thought that anyway, since we need to pick up road wins this year to offset the 4 Home draws. And this is hardly a great insight I'm offering but you have to target Chicago or Columbus since LAG has built their record on a perfect 6 games at home so far.
Note: the Galaxy are no longer top of the league by PPG after yesterday. You might either change the designation or add a note that it is as of the start of the entire stretch.

Never understood why MLS bunches games against opponents. Play each conference opponent once is the first half of the season and once in the second half (did they do away with the 3 matches vs rivals?). Simple. Done.
Well, part of the problem is us. We have to work around the Yankees. The MLS Scheduling Robot has to balance every conflict that every team has and also attempt to make the travel schedules as pseudo-reasonable as possible.
No doubt the Yankee stadium availability is an issue, but it still doesn’t explain why NE is played as a bunch when one match against them is moved earlier/later in the year and that opponent takes the place. With nearly the entire league having their own stadiums, swapping can take place with little to no disruption.
Agreed. Surely one of the Orlando, DC, or Montreal games could've been rotated in, since we've already played each of those teams twice already. 10 games in, and 6 of those were home and homes between 3 opponents. MLS Scheduling is insane, and I'm not even talking about double game weeks and our inability to have a home game until the end of June/early July.

They've already announced that they're playing a doubleheader tomorrow, though.
Hey - Dome is managing the team well now! We have to be worried about something!
I'd also like to point out again the very condensed schedule towards the end of the year for us with some crazy travel (like a midday game in Dallas on Sunday then a Wednesday night home clash vs. Atlanta; the players will need IV bags on the charter flight home).
