Why are you missing the games? Cause of a location change?
I'm right there with you, but will be coming from times square. Hopefully the express 7 isnt too bad! Haven't taken it during rush hour traffic before.
I had to opt out because I had a conflict on Wednesday. Would be right there otherwise.

I'm hoping next year they change it to Friday nights. Saturday night is college football. Sunday is the NFL. There are usually no big games on Friday night. And while there is the lack of a TV audience since Friday and Saturday is a terrible TV night since people go out, it would be best for attendees of the match.

Even a Thursday would be a vast improvement over a Wednesday, especially in a city like New York. And of course, there’s a potential conflict with the World Series. If the Yankees are in the WS this year, the ratings for the semifinal will be a disaster.

Actually since NYCFC, I believe I've only been to two MLB games. Both in LA on trips to see NYCFC on the road. And I hated how long the match too. The non-continuous course of play. Pitch, wait, pitch, wait, pitch, wait. I can't stand the game anymore. The playoffs are watchable due to the intensity of every pitch and the meaning behind it.
I live in Poughkeepsie and can normally take Metro North to the stadium. To drive down to Queens (~1hr45 to 2hrs) mid week during rush hour for a 7pm start is just pretty rough. If it was either not in the middle of the week or at Yankee Stadium I'd definitely be there. Just a bummer.
Still hanging on to hope that the Yankees lose in 5 and I can just pick up tickets to the games (since I opted out of my regular seats).

I think we now know the answer, which is that it looks like we're not ordering anything today. I think we would be ordering if the Yankees won tonight and Citi were a certainty. I think the presale will happen the day after the Yankees win a second game or the Astros win the next 3 straight, and the stadium location for Game 1 is locked in. Note the wording of the tweet.
Technically, we have to wait until after Game 4 (possibly Game 5) to see if we've 100 percent confirmed for Yankee Stadium or Citi Field. With the series tied at 1-1...
Game 3:
- Astros Win --> Astros can win within 5 games, need to wait until Game 4 and maybe even game 5 to confirm venue.
- Yankees Win --> Astros can only win within 6 games, thus we play the ECS at Citi Field
Technically, you restated what I said in different words. You seem to think I implied that after Game 3 either stadium could be confirmed, but I didn't say that.
PS: I did mistype when I wrote " I think we would be ordering if the Yankees won tonight " when it should have said "last night" but that does not seem to be what you are attempting to correct. And bottom line, I think we agree anyway.
