God bless our front office -- when they go in for something, they go in all the way. The ticketmaster tickets are up and they are AGGRESSIVELY priced, even well ahead of our tiered STH prices.

To me, confirms my thought that they know the walk-up will be minimal, so they wanted to squeeze every dollar out of those of us who had no choice. And then you put the BS "retail" prices on ticketmaster to justify the discount. Like the full-price tags on items at Kohl's. Nobody pays that price, it's just for show.

And it's a matter of time before there are multiple ticket special offers out there and I'm sure I will get emails at work about SPECIAL OFFERS JUST FOR ME!

I'd be interested to see NYCFC do this - idk how it would work for STH though.

What's absolutely nuts is that if we win our next game, we're still only 6 points behind NE.
Not so fast… NE plays tomorrow and also plays TFC after we play Miami. By tomorrow night, we could possibly be 12 points behind. What’s really nuts is that after playing 3 of the worst teams in the MLS, it’s possible that NYCFC could be 15 points behind NE by the end of next weekend.

I won't disagree with the idea that it's a big gap and NYCFC is unlikely to overtake the Revs. I will be quite surprised if it happens.

But if we're adding context let's also add that NYC has 2 extra games to play. It's a lot of IFs, and NYC needs to roll a hard six, but if we beat New England twice and win the 2 extra games, that covers the 12 points without needing any help or slump from New England.

It's kind of crazy with all of NYC's mid-week games it has stayed a game or two behind so many other teams in Games Played.

Revs are now 12 points up on NYCFC. Revs have been absolutely clinical at winning one goal games this year and unless this changes, it’s over.

Give the Revs the shield, shield winner almost never wins the cup. Give me a 2 seed in the East and have some wacky team (say Orlando or Nashville) eliminate the Revs in the 1 seed bye game giving NYCFC the inside track to the east.

They won on a stupid PK. Good call, but the attacker was running away from goal and almost out of the box when a defender committed a pointless foul. Blake saved the PK but Bou put back his own rebound.

it's not over til it's over. but i'd rather have the cup than SS.

revs can still drop some points vs lesser opponents (much like us). they are without gil, so anything is possible. still only what... barely half way through the season?

This is MLS so anything is possible…but you look at how the revs are just winning. They lost Turner and Buchanan for four games (players that won individual awards at the gold cup) and won all four of those games.

somebody better than me can do the math, but I bet that if the revs just go .500 the rest of the way NYCFC would have to win like 80% of its remaining games to catch them.

we win our games against the revs and win our 2 games in hand and we'll be tied on points as mgarbowski said above.

they are def. not out of sight. it is a large gap right now, but if we win our 2 games against them, that gap gets instantly cut in half.

I know it's August so we're kind of thrown off, but we're still only halfway through the season. Lots of time left. Just take care of what we can control, and see where we are in a month. Lots of games over the next two months.

When trading in my vouchers this weekend, I noticed that the Dallas game on Tuesday 9/14 was not available. I checked the email I got a few weeks ago listing the Yankee Stadium games and Dallas was not on that. So I emailed my rep to ask what's up. The date works for me but it seemed odd to exclude a midweek game against a west, bottom table team. He wrote back today and said they were opening it up today, and had withheld it because there had been a chance that "the game or opponent might get switched."

So, my news is something might have happened but I'm not sure what or why, and now it won't happen. But there it is.

there was an official email about it today. due to the leagues cup exit, the dallas game will be at YS. if we had remained in leagues cup, it was going to get rescheduled, which possibly meant RBA. So they didn't add it to the account until they were sure it would be at YS.

If we would have advanced in the Leagues Cup, the match would have pushed the FC Dallas match on 9/14. Since we didn't advance, we're playing FC Dallas on 9/14, so they've opened it up on Ticketmaster now.

Thanks both. I've traded in all my vouchers now for 2021, with tickets to New England, Dallas and the Red Bulls at Yankee Stadium. I can't make the last game on 11/7 against Philadelphia, which is a shame. I would have taken that over Dallas.
