2025 Audi MLS Cup Playoffs

That's completely crazy that they'd host a concert that weekend. Does LAFC actually own the arena? I had thought so, but the Red Bulls no longer own their arena.

ETA: I looked it up. The stadium is owned by a commission consisting of city and state agencies. It is managed by the University of Southern California, and LAFC subleases it from the University.

Sports Illustrated Stadium is still owned by Red Bull, they just sold the naming rights.

No, somehow the ownership got transferred to the municipality, I think.

Hold on - incoming Wikipedia search...

The Red Bulls transferred ownership to a county agency in order to settle a tax dispute. This happened in 2016. The Red Bulls have a lease through 2038, with a further 20-year option. It seems the Red Bulls retained the ability to sell the naming rights. The county has the right to hold up to 48 events at the stadium each year.

Oh wow, totally missed that. Must have been some tax bill.
