I will say this, I thought we competed very hard. The team looked very different in Pascal's first game. It looked a little more sophisticated in its ideas and a little more brave. I really do believe Pascal will be a good coach for us, but we may not realize it until David Lee gives him a representative roster. We are 3 or 4 really strong pieces away from being a contender.

some of these are just.. wow. when a coach makes players think "i have to play out the back" so hard they forget that keeping the ball out of the net is more important.
For all those ready to dis MLS for this, remember that Jordi Alba committed the first offense.

What a week in MLS. Vancouver thumped Portland in Portland, Inter Miami rescued points late, and an expansion side put in an impressive performance during their debut game that involved a defender on the opposing team passing the ball directly to the expansion team for a goal.

what’s the over under # on Alonso creating DOGSO’s?
Given that at least 40% of our offense seemed to be kicking it long to Alonso and hoping he makes something happen I'd say we set it at 2 including the one he already earned and the over looks to be in play.
These RSL kits are nice, and would be total fire if the checkerboard pattern continued across the back.

Quakes really put the beat down on a rotated RSL the first game of the season. I’m sure having josef and chicho up front is pretty damn good. But other than that I haven’t watched any team that looks overly impressive (minus Miami)
looks to be with convincing wins too. 2 or more goals. their #9 leads the league with 6 goals. Wagner leads the league in assists with 4.
