Obvously, no Seattle, New England, DC United, Orlando, or NYC soccer specific stadiums yet.
Also, for some perspective:

My guess is the Canadian federation is really pissed off at MLS, so MLS is being extra sweet to the Canadian clubs wherever possible.BC Place isnt exactly soccer specific, yet it makes the list ?
This thread unintentionally makes two great points.
1.) We should not rush into building a stadium just so that we have an SSS, we need to do it right!
2.) It has to be in the City with at least reasonable transit access.
We don't want to end up with some of those SSS' (specifically the Toyota's, Dick's, and PPL; I'll give the Crew a pass because of when they built it and what that venue actually means to MLS, and i'll take a wait and see on that high-school football stadium in San Jose) which are either way out of the way, absolutely terribly built, or both.
We need a single table like Europe does.Obvously, no Seattle, New England, DC United, Orlando, or NYC soccer specific stadiums yet.

It's USA and Canada placed over Europe, Africa, and Asia to show the size.Maybe I'm dense, but can someone explain what I'm looking at here?

Took me a while at first and the only reason I even noticed it is because of Italy being in the middle of the U.S.Ok, yeah just dense then.
I thought it was some kind of distance to a soccer team heat map, but I couldn't figure out what all those extra lines were forTook me a while at first and the only reason I even noticed it is because of Italy being in the middle of the U.S.
Very cool list. What is it with North Americans stadiums and not having a full roof? The new Quakes stadium has one all the way around, but doesn't cover the first 15 rows. Wtf? Why?
