Also would like to point out that the parity in the eastern conference is way lower than in the western conference - if we were in the west (removing the 'we have to play the teams on the west' and looking purely at points), we'd be vying for first place. (then again, columbus is on a losing streak so idk)

The forward - Shradi - might have just needed a rest. Before last night, he played significant minutes 3 times in the previous 4 games over 15 days. That's unusual for him, and he only has 21 games of 75 minutes or more in 86 games since he got here.
The East does have more of the best teams, but I can't say we would be vying for first place. Seattle has 3 more points but also 2 extra games to play. We could catch them, but probably need to win out while Seattle slumps.

I think he put ITS on the bench so he would have at least one attacking player he could introduce late in the game if needed or in case of injury. So, yes.

And your second point is very true. The East is much stronger than the West, and considering there's no interconference play this season, has made our schedule harder than it otherwise would have been.

Dome was the same. He didn’t like interviewing postmatch. I don’t think coaches like being questioned on minute details. They’d rather softball questions that they can pretend to be annoyed with. When a reported constantly comes at them about decisions that led to losses/ties their pride gets the best of them.
Also wanted to add that I think in Europe the local reporters likely don’t come after coaches. Football is big money and they want to keep their credentials. So they’re probably not used to media giving them a hard time.

Yes, but Dome at least looked happy every ow and then. Ronny, even after a 4-0 win, looks like h just wants to get out of there and go to sleep or something. Never really looks "pleased".

That's a good point, i forgot to check games in hand - yet even with that, we'd be a lot closer than we are in the east to a top 4.

Well, the question is "is the east much stronger?" and I don't know if we have the answer due to lack of interconference play... It could just be that certain teams get to play others more often and thus score higher from that. (Like Toronto playing montreal and vancouver thrice each)
Take Philadelphia and Atlanta for example. We had to play them a total of 0 times. Miami/Orlando? We've had to play them twice. Nashville a total 0 times.
etc.

Therefore, I think rather than "The east is stronger", should just be "The parity in the east is lower" for whatever various reasons, since we don't know otherwise lol.

I don't think we can really criticize lineup decisions. The reality we are currently in is that we are going to have to rotate Tajouri, Medina, GMS across the two wings spots. That is already very thin with the condensed schedule and not considering that Tajouri has had fitness problems across three managers, Medina needs to get some minutes at the 10 until Maxi is healthy, and we have to pray to the gods that Taty doesn't pick up a yellow card suspension.

Probably could subbed a little sooner, but if you are hunting for a goal and Tony Rocha is your second best offensive sub- when exactly you make that sub is not really the biggest issue.
