Highly doubt Klopp is going to be the next coach at Liverpool. He doesn't seem like the right fit to me. Anclotti seems much more likely in my opinion.

In other news - sounds like it could be Moyes in for Sunderland.
Sunderland is a thankless managing task that nobody wants. They're going to have a hard time getting anyone notable, and I don't see what the upside would be for Moyes. Doesn't seem like any kind of step up from Real Sociedad.

British people culturally are not very adaptable. We have a tendency to not be able to get used to other ways of life different from that which we know - we've probably been spoiled by the way in which English has become a universal language. British footballers don't tend to go abroad often, and when they do they frequently leave their clubs to come home after 2-3 years. It's even rarer for a British manager to thrive abroad, especially because language and communication is so important in a managerial role. I think a lot of people are speculating that the opportunity to return to the UK will just be too much for Moyes to turn down.

Apparently the Pl is set to sell its international TV rights for £3b ($4.6b) for three years. Added to the domestic TV rights that means that the Pl is now worth £8.1b ($12.4b) in the current deal.

It will be closer to £8.5bn ($13bn) I think. Sky and BT paid £5.14bn, the BBC paid £210m for Match Of The Day rights and there's other domestic rights like Sun goals app and radio coverage, the total UK rights are worth about £5.4bn over the three years. There's a chance International rights could be worth more than £3bn, they've only signed five international deals yet and the the amount paid has doubled in four of them, the US is now the Premier League's most valuable single market.

I didn't catch his name, but the guy doing play by play just came up with the greatest line of all time.

After Shelvey put a free kick way over the bar: "You could have put another goal on top of the one being guarded by Butland and it still wouldn't have gone in."

(Well, I guess you had to be there to appreciate it and I am rather easily entertained.)

I caught that as well. It was worth noting.

Spurs-Villa bring a little Monday afternoon entertainment in about 15 minutes over on NBCSN.......

Dembele (3') and Alli (45+1') give Spurs a 2-0 at the break. Remi Garde is watching the match from the stands and he looks as interested in what's going on as I do.......

Much needed distraction on a slow Monday afternoon. Perfect way to run out garbage time on the day, a Spurs win.
