Wouldn't $6M be one of the highest outgoing transfers in MLS history?
So I suppose with everything going on with Villa , Jack is probably now the most popular NYCFC player of all time?

To be fair, that's probably Tyler Adams, but Harrison is doing great. Herrera too.Was $6M enough to Man City for him?
He's the most impactful MLS (first team) to European transfer currently playing.

Lamps sacked by Chelsea. Could he be a future manager here? Couldn't be worse than Delia could he?
Took them to fourth place after a transfer ban and losing Hazard. I’d take him in a millisecond over Ronny hahahttps://www.bbc.com/sport/football/55794158

I would be the most amusingly perfect thing in the world if Lampard went from NYCFC fan pariah (at least for a substantial vocal subgroup of fans) to NYCFC coaching hero.https://www.bbc.com/sport/football/55794158

So weird Seeing City back on top fueled by their defense. Not that they don'ts till play some pretty stuff but without a true forward right now it's being water tight at the back that has them back to being the best team in England.
The problem with defensive-minded approach, imo, is that it means one bad day at the office at the back and it can all go to hell. Obviously same can be said about the offensive side, but I tend to think defensive errors are more costly than offensive ones. (and that specifically applies to knockout tournaments)and the reason why they have a much better chance at winning the champions league this year over any other

I am putting my money on Atletico for CL
Guess we'll find out!city are just as dangerous going forward. maybe not as dangerous as they have been in the past and without aguero and debruyne, they aren't as lethal. but having a solid defense gives a lot more confidence going forward. of course a bad day on defense could be catastrophic, but that is also atleti's game. city have many more weapons going forward and if aguero and debruyne are back for CL, they will be difficult to beat.
