Chivas Usa For Sale, Only $60 Million!

Yup. The report also mentioned that two downtown locations are being considered for their new SSS.

Ugh. What Tan did to Cardiff is awful. If it's just his money and not his mouth/brain then fine but if he's playing a leadership role I don't understand why MLS gave him the ok.

Their best bet would be to invest in Sacramento. That way they can use their usl team to start looking at players they want when they come into mls.

Yeah, Vincent Tan is exactly who you want to rebuild a struggling franchise. /s
True but he is a minor investor. Nguyen is the majority owner with Tan in a minor role.

except the LA market is way more important to MLS than Sacramento.

The logic behind LA 2 is the same as the logic behind NYCFC: a big TV market that currently isn't being fully capitalized by the current MLS team, so put in a strong No.2 team. LAG while they've been great on the field, and are a draw TV-wise with their stars, don't have a sellout this year. LAG too has a nice stadium which is too far out that people don't go to. So MLS is pushing to have a stadium closer to downtown.
