Hi all

I'm going to the match v Impact tomorrow and am sitting in section 212.

I assume the best way of getting to the Stadium is by 4 line to 161 Yankee as I'm staying at Lexington & 55th St. How long should I allocate for the traveling time?

Secondly, is there a Club Shop or Merchandise stalls on the day, and are they open after the match?

Lastly, is there a good place to go for a beer or three before heading back to Manhattan?

Thanks all in advance.

Colin

1. Yes, take the 4 train. From 59th it should take about 20-25 minutes.
2. They'll be plenty of merchandise stalls all around the stadium to buy club gear, not sure if they operate after the match though.
3. Dugout, its right across the street from Yankee stadium under the train tracks

I hope so - weather looks good and maybe Lampard will make at least the bench.

I'm landing from London at 11am and will be in the Manhattan hotel at 12:45-1pm; I'll head pretty much straight out to the 4 line - one more question, which entry gate do I need to head for? It doesn't say on the ticket and I can't see online which one to use - but I think it might be 6....?

Thanks again and let's hope this is the start of a run of wins to push up the table!

212, row 14. Looking back at the seat map I'm guessing it's closer to gate 6 which is useful for getting off the 4 line. Oh, and I 'Street-Viewed' The Dugout and will definitely give it a try as it's so close so thanks again.

There were huge lines at Gates 6 and 4 when I went last weekend so I just kept walking around the stadium and literally there was no line at Gate 2. Worth keeping in mind because you can move around to whatever section pretty easily once you are inside.

id reccomend getting food at Family Dollar (poundland USA) next to the Dugout. Dollar waters, dollar crisps, cant go wrong.

The gates closest to the train are the most packed so if there's too many people there, just walk around to a less crowded one.
