Help Pirlo Out

  • Be open minded
  • Dont be a dick, unless provoked
  • Go to Smorgasbord at least once
  • Dont go to Times Square
  • Find resturant you like (LES, E/W Village etc.) and go there once a month, every month, for 30 years.
  • DONT go to Little Italy (its not like the real thing AT ALL)
  • Mind your own business when walking, anywhere
  • Shop at Trader Joe's or Whole Foods
  • DONT buy a prostuite from Chinatown no matter how cheap it is
  • Chill in Central Park
  • Visit neighborhoods in Queens like Bayside and Whitestone, every neighborhood has a different feel to it like the little towns in Italy
  • Dont buy .60$ coffee, gives you the shits.
  • If someone offers you "herbs and spices" its not really herbs and spices
  • Hotdogs and pretzels should be 1.50-2.00$, anything more is a ripoff.

Thanks for the Bayside shoutout

It would be cool if one day he took the subway to Yankee Stadium. I know Wingert did/does this and was spotted by fans. True New Yorker.

If he wants to go authentic, he needs to go to Sbarro's. Best pizza and Italian food around!
mgarbowski - get in here. Going to need some help on figuring this one out, as well.
You're going to send an Italian to a crappy pizza chain?!?!?!? I think not!
che cazzo?!

Oh, I knew what dannd23 was doing. I wasn't sure about Seth.
OK, I suppose I'll grant that yes, Sbarro's is a true New York Experience™ if that's what we're going for but that doesn't make it the best pizza. For a chain I'd say to go with Famiglia. 8th and Broadway is my fave location but they're all over. It's perfect New York pizza; just the right amount of oil (more than you'd do yourself but not quite dripping with it) and just a touch of spice (enough to think they might've put something on there but not enough to make you wish they didn't). For the best pizza in New York though I'd have to go with Sac's Place in Astoria. Family-run, coal oven, darn good. On a bad day it's really good, on a good day it's stupendous.

Jockey for position on the corner so he can walk past the annoying tourists waiting for the walk sign.

Jockey to be in the pack of the pack during winter and watch all the tourists get slush splashed on them by a passing cab.
