Hopefully it is reformed but if they are disbanded what would you like see happen. please be realistic no way we are joining UEFA.

i thought they had sent a whole reforms report recently to FIFA. UEFA has some other problems than include other members....still having problems including gibraltar.

I have been pitching that for so long now, I think its looking more likely that UNCAF and NAFU split off and go with Conmebol. but yeah I think a Pan American Football Union is still likely.

there is sort in confederation fighting as well....there are a few clubs that made some new association like a G14 type thing but for south american teams and want improvements on libertadores etc....i guess if it doesnt happen then they may want to break away from conmebol.

libertadores has history and people in south america still love it even though the quality is not what it was before

still the whole americas cup idea is still on early stages... travel is still a huge issue in my opinion and also where was this money coming from was a question that was always iffy for me.

If CONCACAF nations join CONMEBOL, then we're talking some serious Frequent Flier miles and status upgrades for guys traveling from Europe for games in South America. They always go First/Business Class, and a round trip with the bonus multipliers will get them to the super elite levels in no time....

There would have to be. With a north south central and maybe east and the top teams in the final can be played over a weekend.

i read one idea was to keep it within region ( as in concacaf plays concacaf teams/ conmebol plays conmebol teams) until the semi final....to which i think meh ....kinda defeats the purpose....might as well just bring back the inter americana ( forgot the name of it) where winner of concacaf facaes conmebol winner..

there is just too many what if with logisiics and funding at this point i dont know....i havent heard anything since its been announced so i dont know anything new on that front. well see.

North and South wouldn't meat till elite 8 at least and a NA team can only be seated in the North Central or Caribbean. A SA team can only be seated in South Central or Caribbean.

That would be absolutely amazing. However, I'm not sure that it financially makes any sense to compete in a single elimination type of tournament for smaller teams.

It is a 7-8 month tournament, you can do a home & away. Till you reach the final 4 that you can do over a weekend.

not gonna lie i did this in fifa back when i used to play it bracket format....that could work be be financially viable...but not sure if thats what they are going for since i think they really want group stages since thats where they make money in tv rights.

Oh they can be garbage just look at some of the concacaf champions league groups. Sometimes it's like why have certain teams in this level


I mean Galaxy 5-1 versus a Trinidad team and other lopsided scores

But I think the ones who want to do this want to convince teams by having group stage money I kept reading like 3 million or something for being in the group stage per team

im still wondering where this money is coming from...again...well wait and see...i think 2017 was when they were aiming for this to start?
