I am really heartbroken - surprisingly so since we all knew this was coming and heck, I've never actually met the guy.
But he was clearly a terrific fellow, and I will really miss him around these boards.

Update: my rep said that they will put his name up as an announcement during halftime. I'm guessing it will be in the middle of the birthday announcements.

very sad news, i was pulling for him so much and be able to make it to the stadium opener. RIP
It's such sad news, Kevin was a beacon of relentless optimism despite everything he was facing with his health. He certainly inspired me to try to be more positive particularly with how I view the team and the world in general. He was rooting for the return of Malachi more than anyone. It was only a few days before he passed but I hope he got to see or at least knew about Malachi's sub appearance against West Chester.
Go through the funeral home that hosts the obituary posted above. They won’t give info but will pass a message through.

I’ve been absent for a few days and just now put 2 and 2 together based on posts that I first thought were about O’Toole. Ugh.
Genuinely shedding tears right now. I really wanted him to make it to the new stadium. I’d been fearing he’d taken a turn but was also optimistically anticipating his return, given that he had bounced back before. Lately as his usual optimistic posts have been missing, in retrospect my recent pessimism about the season probably has roots in his absence.
I’m happy he got the board tribute and also sad that I missed this thread and the opportunity to tip

Been offline for a moment, just catching up. The news about Kevin is heartbreaking- could not have expressed his importance, his perspective, his contribution better than has already been said by all of you. When the stadium opens, we gotta make sure Kevin gets a brick.
