I am surprised that he even is getting the call-up so play or no play this is a positive development.

Wish we could bring him back, we could really use a good defender. He gets some time in the premiership but he's mainly an unused sub for rangers. The only way he'd get some playtime in the final is a dramatic injury, haha

It was only 20 minutes but he played well. Created a few chances and fought well, nothing spectacular of course and sucks they lost but hopefully this will translate into him getting more playing time in the premiership for the oncoming year.

A 2-0 lead in the Scottish Cup final and Sands isn't on the field. This is exactly when you want Sands on the field to close out the game.

Hopefully with a rest during the summer break, he'll come back being a regular player for the next season.

What a six months for Sands. Run to MLS Cup, run to Europa League final, winning Scottish Cup ... he got plenty of experience even if it was only on the bench.
