The player replacing Villa could be a "minor" DP (like Maxi) - young, or less known - because there's every possibility the player replacing Pirlo is the "big" DP. Get the person here for a year with Villa and then if Villa retires, the reigns are handed over. The rotation could be 2big/1minor with 1big/2minor depending on contracts and who's available.

I'd be shocked if CFG don't want to keep at least one big time Star name on the roster in New York Frigging City. That they'd look for Maxi types for 2 of the 3 DP's I can believe but that they wouldn't want at least one household name for anyone who follows soccer I'm just not buying.

Ring invited her to a home game, and her trip to US was crowdfunded. To accidentally pick just this game must mean it became an ever-lasting memory for her. Sadly, that memory won't last very long.

Ring has posted about this on his Instagram and Facebook pages. Obviously he didn't know the girl before the game, just wanted to brighten up her.
