Malachi Jones [Forward]

wow. that's amazing. i know someone who broke their leg and they were on pain meds and non weight bearing for at least a month. glad to know his injury isn't SO severe that he'd be in that kind of situation. to be walking after just a few days and obviously not in tremendous amounts of pain or high on opiods, that's great news.
Fantastic news. I'm rooting hard for this kid, and not only from a sporting perspective. He's a special individual.

For all of the talk of "same injury" Montefiore's tweet describes it as a tibia fracture, not a tib/fib. Maybe this is also why the on field attention was so different for the two players.

Not for nothing, but I was pretty sure that Trey from blue balls said the Orlando keeper got a compound fracture, which is a whole lot worse than what Malachi got dealt

For the #Team50 crew, when you hear the name "Malachi Jones" - does this song immediately start going through your head?

Should we change the lyrics and adopt a version of this for Malachi?
Good call 🍀

But I also think of this (unfortunately)

Didn't go there but I like it.

But because I'm both 62 and 12 simultaneously when I see the name of the club possibly buying Santi my mind goes to:

shouldn't this guy be recovering from surgery? (From the training photos posted april 10. Maybe there was a photo mixed in from weeks ago?)

It's possible that the injury is such that he's able to do some stuff like bike, light training? not sure

he was supposed to be in england for surgery and rehab though. unless he's back already? has it been that long already? his second surgery was announced march 18. so it's been about 3 weeks.

like you said, not sure what the surgery was for, so it's possible he's already doing light stuff. i'm just surprised to see him back so soon. i figured he would have stayed in england for at least a month or two.

I thought I saw him in the video the team posted of players walking the tunnel at the end of the game. They haven’t said what the surgery was for so it is possible for him to be walking.
