jesus. I recorded the game while watching Sweden/France instead. At the end of that match, I saw the scoreline of his match and deleted it. Now I want to watch it and see what happened

I just watched the play. Looks like he was playing the ball forward trying to play out of the back and tweaked his right hamstring if I had to guess. He didn't go down, but as soon as the ball went out of bounds he had the hand up to be subbed. Came off a few minutes later. Walked off himself with a modest limp at most.

So, if you are an optimist, it was a very slight tweak and he decided he wasn't spending 70+ minutes chasing Robben & Co. around in a meaningless game. Hopefully it is not a more serious pull.

Here's where it happened. No contact with the Netherlands player.

Makes you really want to fire up all of our starters for the USOC right?

See, that logic is just wrong. A tweak can happen in any game. Hold a player out Wednesday and they can get injured vs Seattle. If his muscle got tweaked from non-contact, it wasn't a matter of if it'd happen, but when?

Please tell me you never leave your house to go out drinking, because you could get hit by a car crossing the street on your way to a bar. You didn't need to go to the bar because you have beer in the fridge, but you wanted to have a choice of what's on tap. 999 times out of a thousand, you get to the bar intact, but that one time when your buddy told you there's a women there he wants to introduce you to...

I like you but we are not going to agree on this. I am comforted knowing that we both want the best for our team. That said, you have to play the odds. If your #1 goal is the MLS cup, there should be no distractions from that goal. Anything can happen in 5 games intertwined with a already demanding MLS season. It's not worth it to me, it is to you. Let's leave it at that.

His right hamstring was already in bad shape. Right in front of me and @jgarretlieb, he grabbed his hammy very quickly and discreetly after playing a pass back to SJ around midway through the first half against Philly. I pointed it out at the time.

Then why did you let him get on that plane??? It's on you now.

Can anyone in this Jury Forum really believe and be naive that Every time Pat V looks at my Andrea he's not burned by or relives the 2006 World Cup loss ???? Nobody can be that Professional ! If he say's No that be a lie and I would question if he were human or alien . This was the first thing I thought about the day they Fired JK for PV ! Let's hope Chanot is a good guy and that I rushing to judgment . I sure as hell am not when it comes to Patrick nobody will ever convince me otherwise !!
