It does seem the dad favors Argentina. It's also true that he was fairly wasted in that U-16 tournament. Hopefully, a decision won't hinge on a single 10-day event that wasn't even a major tournament.
Carrizo called up for Argentina’s U15s. Their continental tournament is in November. https://t.co/twEec5RyuY

Maximo was also captain of the team.
Apparently didn't use that authority to order the kids to stop scoring once it was 6-0.
You’ve never been a parent/coach of youth soccer, I take itWhy stop scoring? playing keep away would be more of an insult than running up the score.

Me? Never...I… I think Gotham was just making a joke… ?
shortly after scoring a game tying goal in the second half of NYCFC II - Inter Miami II, midfielder Maximo Carrizo went down with a non-contact lower leg injury and subsequently left the match hoping best case scenario for Maximo 🙏

Per Pascal: “Maximo Carrizo is not injured. He had to be subbed off in the game against Miami because of cramping in one of his calves. He’s fine and he’s traveling with us to Pittsburgh today.”
Or hopefully he is not like OBJ, and doesn't like to drink water so often cramped.get that kid some electrolytes! he came off kinda early for cramps. hope it's not a sign of overworked muscles.
