I think Mix was used wrong when he was here, wide in the diamond or on the wing in year 1. Or as CAM in the 433 when Lampard was hurt. We also had crazy expectations of him because he took up so much of our cap. Even Midas Mulligan reminds us how he shut down Bradley but didn't get his chance in the playoffs when we were short MFs. The CM in the 433 linking Ring and Maxi is probably his correct role. And unlike Yangel he can score, but we don't have to expect more than 2-5 goals out of him to feel he was productive, as long as he puts on a real shift marking men and keeping possession.

ETA, and he'd fit in perfectly by adding to our Viking Army!

We should realize that we're discussing a player who is very unlikely coming back to NYCFC because we have no transfer rumors to talk about.

1. I don't think anyone by Grababoy & Wingert got along with Kries. Including Orlando's roster.
2. Jonah also seemed to rub PV the wrong way and now we're all calling for him to play. I won't hold it against any player for being in PV's doghouse.
3. We haven't seen any articles since of him not fitting in at his last few clubs. And MC kept him around and re-signed him. They wouldn't have done that if they really thought Mix was the one to blame.
4. I trust in Dome to win his respect and figure out the best way to utilize his talents.

*Remember I say all this if he has a low cap hit. For $1mm a year he can go to North Korea for all I care. But it would be cool to see those long flowing locks grace the grass of the house that Jeter built one more time.

I think he was kidding. And I started to comment on how it actually would make sense. (Which it does, though probably won’t happen). Maybe I just miss Mixdebating with all of you.

Wait, what?!? What’s your basis for claiming he doesn’t press? Kreis never had the team pressing, and PV only loosely adopted pressing his first season, but when Mix did get minutes he was always closing down his man; ask Bradley how well Mix harassed him.

We actually don’t know what Mix did to deserve his doghouse status with PV, and Kreis had no issues with Mix other than he didn’t know where to play him once Lampard and Pirlo came on board. He was stuck out on the wing because Kreis created a team with only one winger, Khiry, who was injured for nearly the entire season; thus Mix was tried there.

Additionally, nobody across two clubs seems to know how to take instructions from Kreis, or maybe Kreis doesn’t know how to effectively communicate his ideas, or the players all know the ideas are trash.

Just their break-up as roomies and biffs, and then a pretty obvious change on social media as to the team's social circles etc. which seemed to go from inclusive to exclusive concerning Mix. I am not suggesting that this conjecture has any merit, there could be a million reasons for that.
