It's hard to know what to expect from the Clubfeets. The beat RB twice, including the first game a week ago under their new head coach. But they lost to everyone else, including the terrible Orlando, Cincinnati, and Philadelphia. And every metric says RB is worse than their record, so it's unclear how much that proves. Yet overall, their schedule to date has been among the league's toughest with 6 Away and just 2 at home.
I'm going in planning not to make too much out of any result. If we lose, it might just be an Away loss to a team that's much better than it seems. OTOH if we win, maybe CFdeM really is as bad as its record.

He'll probably play Wednesday though, unless they want to give him a full 2 week rest.

When Ojeda leads a fast break that is not an OGSO, he always runs to the baseline and looks to serve a cross or cut-back regardless of conditions, including whether there's anybody there to receive the his service. Sometimes he realizes nobody is there and passes backwards to recycle; sometimes he crosses to ghosts. I don't know which explanation is most accurate:
- It's all he's comfortable doing so he just keeps doing it regardless of coaching, or
- He's coached to do it, because the coaches know it's all he can do, or
- He's coached to do it even though he could do more because the coaches are making a point to the FO. or
- Our coaches are dumb and don't notice we almost never have a timely trailing runner in center (or left), front of goal, or
- Someone else is coached to run the center-left gap straight at goal and never does, or does so late.
Our tactics are broken because Maxi and Nico are given the freedom to roam around where ever they want and the young wingers are playing more simplified structured roles. The coaching staff needs to figure out system to guarantee someone will always be in the middle.
Being transitioned to offense, which we were in the case of a lot of those crosses, and having no one in the middle in front of goal is an absurd tactical failure. If a wide player can get in a position to send a low cross all the way through the box right across the face of goal, every coach is going to tell that player to do that.
