Big game against one of our fiercest rivals. A point would be nice to come home from the road trip without losing. Not much excitement around this game in here, I don’t blame us.

It's hard to find anything to talk about. Our defensive is solid and keeps us in games and our offense is like watching someone try to win a sword fight with a cooked spaghetti noodle.

It's only one game but the Union look to be one of the most defensive teams in the league per this cool tool on Futi that it was linked in the recent outfield article and looks like it may have been created by John Muller: https://futi-data.streamlit.app/ Combine Philly's defensive heavy tactics with our current offensive deficiencies and this one looks like it may be about as entertaining as watching paint dry.

What is “launch and squish?” Route 1 long ball and pray?

I wonder if this is the game where the kid gets in the picture.

I'm watching Glenn Crooks's pregame show -- he and Matty are not at the stadium. So NYCFC (MLS?) are not sending the radio team on-site anymore and they're calling games off a monitor from literally Glenn's basement. What a shame.

Jansen should be should be asked why Reid isn’t playing. It’s stupid and stubborn at this point.

Nico is the better player and has had success in this role for us. He's the right man for the job. Reid and Talles make sense as options off the bench if we need a different look.

We had one shot on goal last week and it was a PK and we played a man up for most of the second half.

Edit to expand on this: Nico is our best attacker by a large margin, he will impact the game wherever he plays. The questions isn't is Nico better than Reid or Talles, its is Reid or Talles better at Striker than Ojeda at RW?
