My wife and I are thinking about trying to go early and get signatures when players enter the stadium. Does anyone know if this is still something that is possible? Where would we need to go and what time should we try to be at the stadium?
Thank you very much! The players' parking lot for NYCFC is the 164th st. garage and they enter through the Yankee Stadium office entrance at Gate 2. They do sign there. Believe players arrive between 2.5-1.5 hours before kickoff.
Haven't done that since season 1. It's a nice thing to do, especially pre-game when there isn't a crowd like after the match. Granted, I don't know how much of a crowd there is these days. There used to be 5 deep all along the fence in the days of Villa/Pirlo/Lampard.My wife and I are thinking about trying to go early and get signatures when players enter the stadium. Kickoff at 12 PM ET (for Kid's Day)
I recall we've had games kickoff around that time in earlier seasons...
Yeah, a 3 pm or 4 pm would have been much betteryea fried under the sun. even in september it may feel too hot if its sunny.
Yes, gates will open at 10:30 am. I believe there was more "breakfast" foods the last time we had such an early kickoff, but I can't remember it was before the pandemic. They should release details the evening or this morning. I know season ticket holders get the information, they aren't great at forwarding it to people that upgraded. But I can message you the menu if I get it in time.Probably a question for LionNYC.
We cashed in all our trade ins for the year to upgrade to Legends for this one. With a noon kickoff do the usual rules apply? Line up ahead of 90 minutes pregame to get in?
Also, do you know what the spread is for a noon kickoff? Is it the same as usual or do they go more brunch food?
Thanks!
