Very true, but if it was obvious last year that we’d have multiple 3-4 week breaks sandwiched around 3gm/wks, why didn’t the FO push to do a split roving season at YS and also CitiField??? Tell us at the beginning we’re gonna have 3-4 matches at CF with ability to opt out, and I bet it’d have been more acceptable to fans and players.

I hate the pigeon moniker, but call it the Fall Migration or something like that - my preference, being The Tokens (for the obvious double & triple meanings) could have an equally campy & successful marketing campaign with the MTA/LIRR.

A: we’re treated as token parts of the team and it’s self deprecating.

B: whatevs with the LIRR - they’re part of the MTA and go to CitiField and fans will take that for speed of service. It’s not as if Tokens are still used on the MTA.
