It’s refreshing to see that there isn’t a lot of celebrating on this forum about today’s announcement.
It’s not a day to celebrate. A lot of people no longer have jobs because of the way things have gone down over the last 9-12 months. San Fran wins NASL and they fold, Miami FC made a great run in the US Open Cup and now their league folds, Cosmos fans must be crushed.....
To add to this a little.......
The first pro soccer I ever took my sons to was the Cosmos at the Ft.Lauderdale Strikers (during what would end up being the Strikers final season). I just saw a video of the Ft.Lauderdale stadium on Twitter and the weeds on the pitch are 6 feet high. It’s depressing.
Now Miami FC have essentially been sent packing.
David Beckham has his work cut out in South Florida.
