Please come check out our new YouTube channel, The View From 226.

The channel will feature both commentary and analysis and footage from our outings to matches starting with opening day in Chicago. The first video, which has been posted, combines a bit of both the family stuff and the analysis, but I will likely break them up in the future since they may appeal to different groups. So, if you don't want to hear me prattle on about how I'd manage the team, you won't have to, and if you don't want to watch my daughter and I goof off, you can avoid that too!

Comments, feedback and suggestions are welcome and encouraged.

Thanks!

Really like the idea and the video. Great quality and love the passion you've instilled in your daughter as well! Looking forward to more videos and more of your insight here and on the tube.

That's great stuff. How old is your daughter? My little guy

<------- right here

is 8. That's us at the opener. I've also brought my 5-year-old daughter to games too.

We are right down the way in row 2 of 232b. We will keep an eye out for you guys.

By the way, I totally agree with you regarding the best use of Poku. He is at his best with the ball at his feet dribbling at people, so the wing both puts him in position where he will do that and (as you point out) fill a need for the team.

One friendly piece of advice. There are several places where your edits of your commentary are noticeable. This is totally understandable and not a big deal. However, it is a good opportunity to expand your use of graphics. You could talk over, for example, a picture of your recommended formation, which would be informative and hide the edits. Just a friendly tip. As I said, not a big deal, and I know that was a lot of work alt ready, especially for a dad.

Great feedback. We are definitely working on smoothing out the rough edges! Thanks for taking the time to watch and share your thoughts.

We just published Episode 2 with some thoughts on the midfield. The plan is to do a few of these a week. Next up will be a review of the defense once the recent signing news is finalized. I expect to post that towards the end of the week.

Thanks all for the early feedback and interest. Suggestions on possible topics are always welcome.
