It sucks that we are out of the Europa league!But there is a lot of positives with our league form improving over the last couple of weeks!And Roberto Martinez meeting with Andre Ayew to bring him in could be fantastic!

I wouldn't take it personal. He's just trying to protect Lukaku's stock. If he says Rom is world class and shouldn't have come to Everton, then it suggests that he would have had a better season with a better team. Makes it a little harder to judge his performance with that in mind. Flashy agent doing flashy agent things. I don't see any reason to think Lukaku is angling for a move at this point.
 
Didn't get to watch the match as I'm at a conference this weekend, but those ESPN updates on my phone were sweet. Even sweeter that I was with a friend who is a United supporter and got to rub his face in it.
 
Pulled out a last minute win today against West Ham due to Lukaku's diving header. Into tenth place; looks like tenth or eleventh is where we'll end the season. Sigh.

Also, after today's match, Everton and West Ham have precisely identical records this season: 12-11-14, -1, 47 points.

I think it is very important to keep Aaron Lennon. He was super-strong for us in the second half of the season.
We can do better than Atsu as a backup striker.
Garbutt will stay, unless one of the top-table squad poachers makes Everton an offer they can't refuse (let's speculate wildly about who that squad might be).

Agreed on Lennon. He was fantastic and I think he really enjoyed his time as a blue. I think he'll be back.

Atsu has already been sent out on a new loan to Bournemouth, so he won't be back. He's a winger anyway though. If you meant Kone, then I agree we can do better.

Garbutt's contract is up at the end of the month and he wants to be first choice, which isn't gonna happen as long as Baines is healthy. Offers to Everton are irrelevant at this point. Either he chooses to sign the contract or he goes out on a free to try his luck elsewhere. I'm legitimately worried about that one.

Right, forgot that bit. Just rumor mongering by the Mirror and such, as far as I've seen. Wouldn't shock me if he wanted to move on though. From what I've read we signed on Cleverly for something like double what Macca makes in wages. Hard to tell about that.

Garbutt *could* get more playing time playing on the left wing, in front of Baines in the midfield, but that doesn't seem to be a configuration Martinez has really tried much (I do it a lot in Football Manager, heh), and obviously you have competition in that slot from a couple of other players already. So you're probably right; it's a dicier situation than I made it out to be.
