He had already left our academy previously, but looks like he's on his way to an even bigger club. Sucks that we retain talent like this...
Kids that talented are always going to Europe at their first opportunity. Until MLS becomes a top league in the world, we're never retaining players like this.
Downtown United SC is joining MLS Next. DUSC is already an NYCFC Academy affiliate.
I don't know if it's been mentioned elsewhere. But he's now with RB Leipzig and playing for their U19 squad. Was a EUR 3M transfer.
