I woud assume so - in fact i'm surprised we havent yet
Reviving a very old thread to ask if anyone is getting notifications on the team iOS app this year. I have them turned on just like last year but never get them this season. I tried turning them off and then back on, and I deleted the app and reinstalled it. Nothing works.

Ultra elite donor status?
Still haven't gotten any vanity points for being an elite donor.
A couple games into the season I used the 'send feedback to nycfc' function to report the same issue. Never got a response
I tweeted it to NYCFC_Help - we'll see what they say. I did the same early in the season when they still had 2015 standings showing and it was fixed about a week later.
I'll be reordering stickers soon and will be sure to send them out to every elite donor.
For the App it's something I've always wanted to do but to actually have the website be integrated into a fully functional app I think it will cost a lot. I'm talking getting phone notifications when you get them on the forum and the works.
For now you can always just add it to your home page for quick access.
I think this platform does an outstanding job on mobile browsing and at the moment spending the $$ to develop an app would be a waste.
I have been looking at possible ways to upgrade and at the moment I think the only thing we could use is a nice simplistic redesign.
If we are talking redesign can we toss out features for the wish list?
Mine would be an ignore button for a thread so it doesn't pop up in the New Posts list.
Of course I'd also be happy with the forum as is forever. So don't take wish list as criticism. Thanks as always.
It does not work on the NYCFC app but if you download the MLS app and tag NYCFC you can get the notifications through there.

ugh, i get a bunch of notifications from ESPN FC and MLS apps, but I'm not sure if I noticed if any were coming from the NYCFC app . . . I guess I'll find out tonight.
I thought there were pre-developed apps for sites using this bulletin board software.
I like the NYCFC app. Liked it better when it automatically opened to the countdown clock, but it's a great way to get a quick peek at stats from games and player info.

Another thing I miss about it this year.
I wish there was some way to keep the ESPN app notifications on for wins and not have them turned on for losses. Its always great after a win, getting that notification and saying to yourself, "That's right! We did just beat Portland!".
But when we get beat 1-0 to Orlando after handing Larin the ball, I really don't want that reminder.
