It being an international date definitely hurts us more than it does them. You list Matarrita and Wallace, but we could also be without Ring, Chanot, and potentially Herrera (and even maybe Callens?). As well as Camargo, though after his performance last night I'm not certain many tears will be shed here.Game will be either June 13 or 14. Coin flip later today will decide which team hosts.
This would be on a Tuesday or Wednesday before our game against Seattle the following Saturday. There is no game the prior weekend, as that's an international date for World Cup Qualifying. I would expect both sides to be at full strength, minus anyone who is called up for international duty (Matarrita, Wallace, Kljestan).

For the record, I think we will have Callens. But he has been called up in the past to the Peru national team, and Transfermarkt listed him on the bench for their last WCQ though I can't remember that actually happening.So...
Given no: Matarrita, Wallace, Ring, Chanot, Herrera, and Callens
---Harrison--Villa--Lewis---------
-------------Maxi--Pirlo--------------
----------------Lopez------------------
--Allen--Sewat---White--Gomez--
----------------Johnson----------------
Bench: Johanson, McNamara, Stertzer, Awuah, Shelton, Okoli, Camargo
That would literally mean the only player not in the lineup aside from international absences (and loans, Mena) would be Rawls
brillant?So...

Herrera is obviously playing great for us now, we'll see if his U20 performance earns him a call up to their senior national team for their WCQs.
The others I expect to be gone.
situations like this just makes players like piatti, valeri, maxi, villa that much better. They are really really good for their clubs and they dont get called up to national team duty. We need more players from powerhouse countries that are great but don't get called up because their national teams are already stacked (i.e Argentina, brazil, spain italy germany ect.). Getting great players from central america, Luxembourg finland just hamstring us during international break. I personally get no joy from knowing our player is playing a friendly in Luxembourg. I want them home helping our Defense not suck.It being an international date definitely hurts us more than it does them. Is it possible that we declined to host so the coin flip went automatically went to the Red Bulls?
