This will be a pretty marquee match-up for the USOC. I imagine they'll PR the crap out of this.

I'm assuming this will be played at RBA?
Btw, absolutely no mention whatsoever on the NYCFC front page, nor the RBNY website. I guess that's a good indication of how much the clubs intend to hype/promote this match.
Official date, time, and location...

Yes, they get tickets to every round I believe.Do RB season ticket holders get the US Open Cup as part of their package?
I know US Open cups generally draw a pitiful crowd, but could be a chance for NYCFC fans to make a ruckus because we know RBNJ fans aren't showing up for this one.
RBNJ fans aren't showing up for anything.

That's probably the profit from five-ten kegs of beer at yankee stadium. The team really should start throwing fans a bone after some of the shitshows we've endured.Hey Intern,
US Open Cup tickets are cheap. Why don't the front office buy like 1000 tickets for fans? Let's fill more fans in blue than those in red at this game in their building.
For the record, I think we will have Callens. But he has been called up in the past to the Peru national team, and Transfermarkt listed him on the bench for their last WCQ though I can't remember that actually happening.
Herrera is obviously playing great for us now, we'll see if his U20 performance earns him a call up to their senior national team for their WCQs.
The others I expect to be gone.
What's the rule about how many internationals each team can field in the Open Cup?So...
Given no: Matarrita, Wallace, Ring, Chanot, Herrera, and Callens
---Harrison--Villa--Lewis---------
-------------Maxi--Pirlo--------------
----------------Lopez------------------
--Allen--Sewat---White--Gomez--
----------------Johnson----------------
Bench: Johanson, McNamara, Stertzer, Awuah, Shelton, Okoli, Camargo
That would literally mean the only player not in the lineup aside from international absences (and loans, Mena) would be Rawls

Am I the only one who doesn't like this "derby"? Does no one else see how fake and manufactured this rivalry is?
I think it is five but am too lazy to look it up.
