Shay Facey is a 21 year old Mancunian, whose been at MCFC since he was 12.

He's a right back who can play centre back and has been for the last year or so (Vieira likes to play players in different positions to help them develop different aspects of their game). He's quick and good on the ball, but sometimes lacks concentration or upper body strength. He's is decent in the air and (for his age) his positioning is excellent.

Good news as I felt NYCFC were a little short at the back (particularly RB). However, this will be his first taste of professional football (excluding a pre-season tour with MCFC last season) so he may not exactly hit the ground running.

Can we get Dunny or anyone as our camp insider so he can fill us in with the remaining squad numbers and maybe tidbits about the happenings in camp? More about how players are getting along, camaraderie, BFFs, anecdotes and not about tactical shit as to not get him in trouble.
 
I messaged him yesterday but just to say hey and weMre enjoying the content coming out of camp and to wish him the best. Don't want to push for anything

He has also played for England at every youth level, he is up to around 20 appearances.
 
In assuming since they didn't announce it its just a trial period. Then they'll make a decision on wether or not they will loan.
