Hmm looks like Fran Martinez got the "heave ho". I'm assuming that the "^" are people who are still on trial/under consideration so Johansen and Facey may happen.
I think that Johansen coming on as a trialist is pretty telling of the confidence level in Saunders holding down GK while Meara rehabs.
Hr's a top keeper. How long has hee ben with NYC? I mean I know he's a trialist, but when did he join the team? has he train yet and stuff?I like Poku but I can't see NYCFC going with him out there and AJ or Grabovoy or Velasquez on the bench for him. You have to play Mix. Can NYCFC handle a 4-3-3?
So has Saunders just been replaced by Eirik Johansen?

He is a MC academy player that is (currently) officially trialing with NYC. He came on as a late sub for Saunders in the Brondby game.

Very happy with the preseason. Its always hard to predict how the season will go by a few preseason games, especially in the case of a brand new team, so I'm not really worried about our W-L record. I saw a lot of good things and a lot of things that have gotten me very excited for the season to start next week.
I haven't seen enough of the players to predict our line up yet, but I am extremely confident in Kreis to get the formation and balance right come kickoff against Orlando.

I agree, a lot of positive things on show.
And I don't think even Kreis has a definite starting XI yet. I'm sure the first few games will help shape that.
