Following my prior post I'll say one more nice thing about him before reverting to form. He looked pretty good yesterday, especially in the early parts of the game. And we were worse after he left, although I think that was in substantial part a case of Poku not doing his usual Poku thing.

Ok, now to the bad. For those who have been following my weekly playoff chase updates, you know I've been keeping track of how we have played since our transfers first showed up on July 12. To sum up, we have gotten worse, and are currently at 0.89 PPG since then (8 points in 9 games).

But they did not all arrive at once. Iraola and Angelino first played July 12 against Toronto, the former started and the latter was a sub. We drew. After a loss to New England, Mena and Pirlo both first appeared as subs on July 26 against Orlando. We won. Frankie first appeared a week later on August 1 against Montreal. In the 3 games with transfers but before Frankie, we were 1-1-1. 4 points in 3 games, or 1.33 PPG. The July 26 games was the high point of our season to date if you exclude the first four weeks of the season when we were living off our 1-1-0 start. Our PPG after that glorious Orlando game, when Pirlo came on for the second half and convinced us all that everything would be magical from here to the playoffs, was 1.143. We have not been that high before or since.

The next week Frank played for the first time. Since then through his appearances and his "I'm fit, I'm not, I'm fit (sort of)" dance, we are 1-1-4. Four points in 6 games, and the win and tie came when he sat out. In games he played we are 0-03.

Sure, six games is an extremely short sample, but he could have avoided that, and chose not to. God I hate him, Soriano and CFG. Our first season collapse dates to 12/31/14.

"I can’t be at my best, I’ve only trained for days, rather than weeks,” Lampard said.

"Guess I should have shown up on time instead of chasing glory with Manchester City, maybe I would be fit and contributing to the team now instead of being a waste of space on a team in a playoff hunt."

Oh and by the way, NY is 0 wins and 3 losses in the games that Frankie has graced the field with his presence.

Frank Lampard doesn't see a problem with the spirit:

But Lampard, substituted after 60 minutes of his first appearance at Yankee Stadium, said: "Managers and players should be emotional after defeats at times, but there's an all-round spirit in the camp and I don't see a problem at all."

"We're not getting the results and the consistency, but for me it's not for the want of trying."

The former Chelsea star, who had missed the last three games with a muscle problem, said: "I can't be at my best. I've only trained for days, rather than weeks."

Very interesting. I really wonder who Kreis had in mind when he said that now....could it be Frank?

To me, that's a CLEAR shot back across Kreis' bow from Lampard. Which is pretty comical.

Have I just read that your running a poll to who you should sell frank too ?
Chelsea or city ,god I've read some crap on here but that will take some beating ..
Surly its not gone unnoticed that the likes of Gerrard,Keane wright Philips lampard etc are no longer good enough or fit enough to play in the EPL ?

I think Frank is right and has every right to fire back. Kreis has no business making these vague accusations, when all we see is guys working hard. They may make physical mistakes, but I just don't see a lack of effort.

Frank may be old and unfit, but he gave all he had. And damn right we were better with him than without.

That said, dump both FF and Kreis before next year, and we'll likely be far better all around.

After the NJRB vs DC United match, Alexi Lalas said given the state of the club and the comments that Kries made, he is probably on his way out. We're not the only ones that see things for what they are. You might get at least one of the two.

Most of you were sucking this guy's dick since the beginning of the season and now you want to get rid off him. LOL at you, bruhs. Remember #Lampardgate
