Pitch side seating and semi-related stuff

Just heard back about the Mohegan Sports Bar. It's over :(

BUT she did say that we'd have access to the Field MVP Club. Does anyone know what that is?

I put a link to it in the MSB thread, but it's behind home plate. Where they do the meet the players post-match thing.

Spoke to my rep, the majority of the seats are on hold for corporate sponsors and more surprisingly board members of CFG. I got two seats, I'll let you all know what it's like.

First thing I thought of when I saw them was that I knew you'd be moving. I look forward to seeing the pics.

Damn. For the kind of money it better come with..........well, you know.........

I think the back half of section 103 may have a better view then the front half.

I have Row 1 of 14A and when play is coming at you its a thrill for sure. Seeing players eye level running full speed towards you but going the other way you might as well not even look at the field.. Which I didn't. I watched it on the big screen which is conveniently located directly across so I did enjoy the seats. However being on the sideline you'll only experience that thrill during a throw in.
I watched our first ever home goal curl into the back post and saw Villa running past me all of 10 yards away. Now that was cool

I basically sat right behind these seats for the Seattle game (so my kid could see Dempsey, his idol), and can backup what Dan said. It's one of a kind being that close, but on the other end, you can't see anything. I have to think these seats are even better since you are on the pitch, surrounded by the crowd. Still, it seems more like a one-off experience than something to do every single game. I would spend Cityzens points for it for sure.

as far as them switching the benches that was something the team posted on twitter towards the end of last season...they wanted to put the home bench closer to the supporters section

I moved my seats in 107 because I was too close to the field in row 2. The novelty of it is fun but when you can't really see what's happening on the other end it's just not worth it. I think these pitch side seats will be cool but only if they're elevated a decent amount.

And some people thought I was crazy for upgrading my seat to Champions Club.....

This is true. I like the view better from row 4 then your row 1 seats but even further back is better. A little higher up.

This actually really pisses me off. They ask us to renew our seats and I bought 2 more under the false pretenses that the seating chart being shown was in fact the real seating chart.

Also kept my two seats next to the tunnel. A few years back, a friend told me my addiction to sports tickets was worse than cocaine, and more expensive too.

Come visit me at Champions Club, or am I too much of a pleb in your eyes? ):
