Awesome footage. Those holdout locations as I’ve written before, are an eyesore.
What are they holding out for? Should just come by in the dead of night and bulldoze em

A memo obtained by CNN earlier this year listed a YMCA in Park Slope, Brooklyn; a recreation center in Staten Island; the campuses of York College and Medgar Evers College; and the parking lot at Citi Field in Queens as possible shelter sites.
They should make a deal with the governor of New Jersey and make a certain stadium in Harrison a shelter site. They might finally fill the place except when Messi, Costa Rica, Arsenal, Brighton and Newcastle play.
Isin't this pending the whole parking lot situation? if that doesnt get solved then nothing gets done?
In one of the Twitter (X?) replies Soup says there is no update on Cohen's parking threats.
so then this is all still hanging on that decision.

I won't actually, truly believe this is happening until they break ground and start building the thing.
Assuming all goes as planned, and I would expect it to, one month until final environmental impact statement certification
is there any update on the whole parking situation with Cohen? when would that need to be solved by?
They probably don’t want to play the licensing fee. Or just change it up every year or so.

This is really pissing me off. Blitzkrieg Bop is a perfect goal song for an NYC club. My tinfoil hat side is saying that maybe YS doesn’t play it any more because it’s a Queens anthem and they are peevish that the team is gonna be there permanently soon.

Licensing on that is a rounding error. They have been playing it for years and it demonstrably fires up the crowd. Getting rid of it is a self-own.
