Re: all the Salty complaints about YS pitch size, when I went to Rayo Vallecano two weeks ago the pitch seemed a tad compact. Lo and behold it’s 109 yds by 71 yds. Basically the same as YS. Nobody is questioning Rayo’s cred. They are on track for Europe next season as things stand. So haters can suck it. We should build to YS proportions.
PS: watching Espanyol V Rayo right now and Yangel just took out his own guy on a contested header. (With Iraola managing Rayo it’s the clash of the former NYCFC d-mids!). Hope he’s OK.

And to @mgarbowski’s suggestion, I really think we should own it amd adopt Take Me Out to the Ballgame as our own “You’ll never Walk Alone” or “I’m forever chasing Bubbles.” Should be sung before every match.

I think he said that he was listening to Glenn crooks and when he was about to talk about it, KJB’s wife called and he didn’t get to hear what Glenn and Co. were going to say

I see. So nobody heard it!? I would think he didn't say too much or he would have broke it on twitter himself. More than likely he just mentioned that Sims mentioned they were looking at queens too. *shrug* the mystery/wait continues.

Same regurgitated statement from Don Garber at the state of the league address re: stadium "club continues to remained focused" "took dc 20 years but I don't think it will take NYCFC that long" "have to get it right" "I hope I'm still commissioner when they open their stadium"

Bingo

New article about the stadium issues on The Athletic. #SameAsItEverWas

Of note: NYCFC is looking at one other location in the Bronx and several in Queens. (Feels like 2017 all over again)

Hopefully a broader net (again), the World Cup deadline (FWIW), and a new administration (which also is addition by subtraction) will be the right recipe. Add an MLS Cup to that mix and some lessons learned and maybe it all bakes well.
