He still has never scored one of his signature benders at a home match.

And then he caused the penalty which led to Red Bulls lead in the game thus far.I miss ya, TMac.
One thing I will say this team is pretty good at is letting a player go before their value drop. T-Mac was a good example of this. He is/was a fan favorite and right near the end of his time here he was beginning to lose his magic. But we traded him away to the Revs. I could say the same for Brillant, Alfredo, and I think it could be argued we let Ring go at a good time too (not that his production was dropping, but his production compared to his evaluation/how much he was asking for in his next contract).kinda sad that t-mac is trying to get signed as a trialist. really surprised no one has signed him up as a depth piece. i guess he is getting up there in age though...
As discussed in other threads, might not even be as much T-Mac's slowing down as it is the league is speeding up.kinda sad that t-mac is trying to get signed as a trialist. really surprised no one has signed him up as a depth piece. i guess he is getting up there in age though...
I always admired that Tommy seemed to extract every ounce of productivity from a midlevel skill set, with a combination of hustle and smarts. The highlight from that Portland game above is just a smart vet seeing a pass opportunity that not everyone sees.As discussed in other threads, might not even be as much T-Mac's slowing down as it is the league is speeding up.
I was thinking that exact same thing. Not the most important part of that Revs team but definitely integral part of that Arena plan. Thanks for agreeing with me and pointing out the flaw in my argumentI always admired that Tommy seemed to extract every ounce of productivity from a midlevel skill set, with a combination of hustle and smarts. To CCMore's point, I agree we let him go at the right time, but I was very impressed that he was a 1900+ minute contributor to the 2021 Revs squad that ran away with the Shield.
If that was the one at Philly, that's my fave McBanger too.The guy did score some bangers. My favorite TMac highlight was during our first season, I was in Vegas playing a WSOP event and, of course couldn’t miss one of our games, so I was watching our game against Philly on an iPad while playing at the tournament table. As the WSOP events attract players from around the world, I had some footy fans at my table who were asking about the match I was watching. I gave them the full story, and they began watching the game over my shoulder in between hands etc. Late in the game, TMac scored an absolute golazo to even the score and my new friends and I celebrated as if they had just won the World Cup. Good times!
What's wild is he was well known for those bangers during his time at NYCFC yet he never scored one at home, and he has yet to score one since leaving NYCFC.The guy did score some bangers.
