I don't know if I've ever seen a team fight harder than what I just saw. What an absolutely incredible display. How can you not love this game?
Without Salah or Firmino to boot. As great as Liverpool played though Barca played terribly and complacent. And i dont mean that in any way as a form of diminishing Liverpools accomplishment

2 of their biggest offensive threats were injured plus the fatigue from the league race and playing 3 games a week for God knows how long. Insane. Klopp deserves a CL in his trophy case.

That corner kick is the sort of thing I'd expect Pep's set-piece guru to come up with.
Is that set piece legal? The Liverpool player is on the field and within the boundaries when he takes it. I've never seen that before.
And the Radio. I normally keep XMFC on in the car but switched over to some new wave cause I don't want to hear about this. Big time backing the Spurs-Ajax winner in the final though I think it'll take a miracle for Pool not to win it now.
I doubt it. As long play is not whistled dead, it's up to the defending team to stay alert. And it would make no sense to require players to kick the ball from outside the pitch lines when the ball can legally be placed as much as 1 meter from the touch line.
I'm pretty sure the other ball crossed the end line first. Also, see my prior post. If play is not whistled dead, then play on. It's up to the officials to manage that.
That second ball was off the field over the end line before TAA even started to walk away from the ball set at the corner.
Also of note, zero Barça players register any kind of protest.
Agreed and yup. Very poor form by Barca to be flustered by that.

what a fucking game. crazy finish. I feel bad for these Ajax kids tho, they gave it their all.
