USOC - April 29 - Red Bulls (Away)

What's statistically more unlikely? 3 identical corner goals scored in one game or Ojeda going to his left?

I've been a fan and rooting for him and seeing a lot of progress. For some reason last night his move to the baseline and only ever baseline seemed nearly pathological. I know I'm late to this party mgarbowski. It just seemed even more glaring to me last night.

ETA: I should add, he was still a threat. He earned corners and got a couple of good crosses across goal. In fact I think he accomplished either a corner or a decent cross on nearly every drive. So he's not getting shut down, remarkably. At some point defenses will figure that out. Right?

I've been down on him for a while so it's no surprise I was among the first to notice this negative tendency. It's confirmation bias that in this case turned out to be right.

This is the part I noticed. He was able to pull it off and be dangerous nearly every time, even with the defenders knowing that's what he would try to do.

Just watched the highlights, but are the 3 corner goals on the red bulls for being terrible defensively, especially since they were so similar, or is it a sign we might actually get some goal contributions moving forward with our CBs?

If it works, then I don't mind him doing it. But I hope the coaches will get him to work on cutting inside and using his left foot because that will just make his end line runs all that more dangerous if that is his preferred path. He has potential to be a more complete winger if he works on it.

In Kevin's honor, I'd say it's a guarantee one of our defenders is winning the golden boot this year.

I think it's terrible defending. Those guys are always there, but to get three of them in one game is insane. Corner kick goals like that feel like hole-in-ones, and we got three of them in one game.
