I watched most of it most huddled around my phone with TabascoDiva's brother. It was interesting watching their first half while watching our team's second half. I caught the last 10 minutes at Yankee Tavern. Had to watch from outside the front door it was so packed. The reactions from fans of each team for the last 2 goals was hilarious. I ended up holding hands with a complete stranger.Just post the entire match tape. Watched on DVR when I got home. Epic indeed.
More coordination than the typical Tummy goal.Possibly one of the best goals I've ever seen.
Tip o' the hat to Ian Joy for posting this on twitter.
Nice goal, but that music is something else. I need more Highlight videos with some real tunes like that in the background.
Ask Harry Maguire . Ask Spurs in the 91st .ask Watford about the 3rd .I haven't watched the Watford match yet but this goal doesn't give me any new data and therefore my assessment is unchanged.
By the time he receives the ball he already has separation. He is a brawny little meatball so you know he is gonna take advantage of that. I give him credit for keeping his head and being confident enough beating defenders on the half step that he doesn't rush into speculative efforts on goal. I love him as a player but this is his bread and butter. From a standing start with the defense in front of him he doesn't quite have the ability or passing repertoire to unlock situations (at least not that I have seen).
I'mma put it on my to-do list to compile Mo Salah brain farts in traffic.Ask Harry Maguire . Ask Spurs in the 91st .ask Watford about the 3rd .
He scores every type of goal. You really just aren't watching his game if you don't see the danger he creates and panic he causes .No one wants to square him up. He's indefensible in the box.
Fine. Do the same for anyone else.I'mma put it on my to-do list to compile Mo Salah brain farts in traffic.
Yeah other players do those things too, but we aren't talking BDO for them. I just turned on the Watford match. Happy to be proven wrong.Fine. Do the same for anyone else.
I'd actually say he very rarely makes a mental mistake. Far more likely to try something audacious that doesn't come off.
Hell, look at the ball he played to Ings that ended with Salah getting 4 .Look at the assist to Bobby.
Litrrally, one game the guy showed his entire range. I'll beat 5 in the box, I'll run in behind, I'll set up my teammates, I'll track back and cover the full back on the opposite side.
I wasn't ready to go there before, but now, I'm more than willing to say he's the best player in the premier league and he has an argument for POTY and BDO.
Name the other players with his goal contributions, and let's see .(Hint: no one is close to him except That Guy)Yeah other players do those things too, but we aren't talking BDO for them. I just turned on the Watford match. Happy to be proven wrong.
For pedagogical reasons.Probably just threw him in the same hole as Boateng :joy:
