RBNY Postgame

I know I'm dwelling on this now, but do you think the delayed start messed up our mental prep? Being completely fired up for the scheduled start but not being able to re-start the engine for actual kick-off...adrenaline depletion etc? Whilst those fckers used their free sugar/caffeine drink.......

Going on a small rant here..

I think the underlying problem is far greater than we think. We keep talking about coaching, DPs, tactics, players in general, etc. I think the problem is our organization and CFG thinking they got the biggest ____ in the room. That they can waltz right into this league and dominate. I truly think they think they are smarter than everyone else in the league. Confidence is good, but ignorance and arrogance will keep us from growing. They will see their mistakes through to the end if they have no one else to blame, just to try and prove they didn't make a bad a mistake.

I truly hope this game humbled them and they seriously look at this club as a whole...not just as a pet project with a revenue stream. They are taking us for suckers. Gimmicks and marketing will keep the dopes coming they think. This game needs to be a defining moment in our club's young existence and mark the beginning of great things to come. Otherwise, we are being sold snake oil. I'm not feeling overly optimistic right now.
Hey, I liked the way I said it.
I had a big fear we would drop this 2 or 3 to 0 when I heard all of our pussy footing media. But 7-0 wasn't in my wildest dreams. CFG as an organization lack heart, and it shows in our squad and in others. Since Hughes was fired, they haven't won shit as an organization when they weren't head and shoulders more talented.

This loss is one that stamps our club with a scarlet letter. I won't be disappointed or surprised if attendance drops markedly. It should. This is an unmitigated travesty.

The Red Wedding was a surprise slaughter in Game of Thrones/Song of Ice and Fire. A bunch of main characters died and was shocking and traumatic.
Add a spoiler tag for anybody that hasn't read/watched it. That's too big of a scene to put out there.

It's a 3 year old episode of a TV show based on a book that came out 15 years ago.
And somebody still didn't know what the connotation was which is why the question was asked in the first place :) there are people out there less tuned-in to fine programming and stories than we are..... not many, but a few....

Yeah but how likely is that person to pick up the book/show and care that they were spoiled at this point?
